Great Northern Builders is excited to be a 2021 Maine Parade of Homes founding member and we hope all of our vendors and partners (as well as clients old and new) will visit our entry beginning this October 9th 2021. The Parade of Homes is an initiative from the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Maine (HBRAME) to promote the craftsmanship of their builder members by setting up virtual home tours of recently completed projects. Great Northern Builders has been a member of the HBRAME since 2010 and Maya Bogh is currently serving her second term as the HBRAME Board President.
In addition to promoting the builders and remodelers working in the state of Maine, the event is a fundraiser for the Central Maine Community College Building Construction Technology program. This program is an important part of our industry – they are training the next generation of builders. The program works to recruit both men and women to pursue a career in the building trades. Proceeds from the ticket sales for the Maine Parade of Homes will go to support these students.
The entries themselves are an eclectic mix of home styles and locations: lake front to ocean front, country to city, remodels to new construction and more. The entry put forth by Great Northern Builders was one of our largest remodeling projects of 2021. Read more about our project here. We hope you will visit our Parade entry starting October 9th. Take a tour and vote for our project to win the People’s Choice award.
