Employee Spotlight: Meet Melanie

Meet Melanie Merz, Marketing Manager for Great Northern Builders. Melanie usually goes by Mel and lives in South Berwick with her husband and 2 young children. Mel grew up in the Seacoast and loves everything about living in Maine and raising a family in South Berwick. 

Mel enjoys her role as cheerleader for Great Northern Builders and shares the beauty of their work far and wide (including in this newsletter and on social media), but she also helps follow up with clients after a job is complete to learn how it all went. 

When you get to know Mel you learn that she 

1. Is a busybody who is very active in the community
2. Is 8 peaks away from completing the NH 48 4000 footers list 
3. Is always bragging about her husband’s culinary talents

Shortly after graduating from UNH, Mel gathered many interesting stories while she worked for a private aviation firm that chartered jets for the rich and famous. Mel has spent the last decade marketing for small businesses in the Seacoast. When Mel is not feverishly typing on her laptop, you can find her outside somewhere, probably hiking with her family.
